Angel Hierarchies-Choirs and What They May Look Like

ANGEL HIERARCHIES - CHOIRS AND WHAT ANGELS MAY LOOK LIKE

We may be able to speak directly to God through prayer, but according to the Bible, he reaches us through a variety of angels, each with specific duties. There are nine types (hierarchies) of angels within three major groups known as choirs. Regardless of where they are on the hierarchy, like us, they are individuals.

Unlike humanity, Angels are able to see far beyond a mortal time line, they are extremely patient and forgiving. They are aware of our personal life goals and are assigned to assist us, but never interfere with our free will. The first choir, in its celestial form, is represented by wavelengths of light and force fields and frequencies of sound. These entities emanate vibrations, or waves, of devotional love into the universe.

In the 5th Century A.D., Dionysus, a Middle Eastern Scholar studied the Angels in Scriptures and other non-biblical sources. He came to the conclusion that there were 9 “classes,” or “choirs” of Angels which were divided into 3 “spheres.”

Even though there are some minor discrepancies in the field of Angel scholars, Dionysus’ Hierarchy of Angels is still accepted today and are as follows:

• 1st Sphere – Seraphim, Cheribum and Thrones
• 2nd Sphere – Dominions, Virtues and Powers
• 3rd Sphere – Principalities, Archangels and Angels

Below you will find a brief description of each hierarchy and how they are described.

Seraphim

These are the angels who are closest to God. They encircle his throne and emit an intense fiery light representing his love. They are sometimes referred to as “The Burning Ones” .Seraphim are considered "fiery serpents" and not even the other divine beings may look at them. There are only four of them and each has four faces and six wings. When they come to Earth, they leave their serpent appearance behind, preferring tall, thin, clean-cut human embodiments.

Cherubim (Plural of Cherub)

These angels are the keepers of celestial records and hold the knowledge of God. They are sent to Earth with great tasks, such as protecting the gates as well as expelling humankind from the Garden of Eden. Ancient art depicts cherubim as sphinx-like, winged creatures with human faces, not the fat babies with wings that now grace greeting cards and book covers. Ophaniel, Rikbiel, and Zophiel are cherubim, as was Satan before his fall to evil.

Thrones

Thrones' appearance is perhaps the most bizarre of the first grouping. They are said to look like great glowing or fiery wheels covered with many eyes. They serve as God's chariot and dispense his judgment in order to carry out his desires for us. The angels in the second choir can exist in a state of transition between the celestial and human worlds. They are considered heavenly governors, attempting to strike a balance between matter and spirit, good and bad.

Under the highest angelic forms lay the 'middle' angels.

Dominions or Dominations

Think of dominions as middle management. They receive orders from Seraphim and Cherubim, then dish out duties to the "worker bee" angels of the lower orders. Their main purpose is to make sure that the cosmos remains in order by sending down power to heads of government and other authority figures. Their job is to make sure God's wishes are carried out. Zadkiel (sometimes called Hashmal) is the chief of this order.

Virtues 

Virtues are the Angels of Grace who bring God's Blessings to earth. Shaped like sparks of light, virtues are in charge of maintaining the natural world, and they inspire living things in areas such as science. They also take orders from the angels above and convert them into miracles for the deserving. When they make themselves known to us in their earthly form, they are musicians, artists, healers, and scientists who work with the power of love, as well as physics. The two angels at the ascension of Jesus are believed to have been virtues.

 PowersThe job of the Powers is to prevent “Fallen Angels” from taking over and keeping the Universe in balance. In their celestial form, powers appear like brightly colored, hazy fumes. Powers are border patrol agents between heaven and Earth. They are the angels of birth and death. Some believe that they also preside over demons who wish to overthrow the world, while others, namely St. Paul, thought the powers themselves were the evil ones. In any case, powers are a group of experts who serve as advisers in terms of religion, theology, and ideology.

Principalities

Principalities are guards against the evasion of evil angels. These angelic beings are shaped like rays of light. Just like a principal in school, it's the principalities who oversee everything. They guide our entire world -- nations, cities, and towns. What's more, they are in charge of religion and politics. As if their plate isn't full enough, they are also in charge of managing the earthly duties of the angels below them.

Archangels

Archangels carry God's most important messages to humanity. They also command God's Armies of Angels in the constant battle with the son of darkness. They, along with the angels, are guardians of people and all things physical. They are the first order of angels that appear only in human form. As such, they function among us as pioneers for change in the form of explorers, philosophers, and human rights leaders. This order is most commonly known because they are mentioned by name in the Bible – Just to name a few, Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.

Angels

Angels are the true intermediaries between God and individual people. Angels don't watch over nations; they safeguard households and individuals who believe in God and keep them safe from demons. They nurture, counsel, and heal. We all have a "personal angel," better known as our Guardian Angel, with us daily.

How to receive messages from Angels

Angels are described as beings filled with light and love. They protect and guide us in our times of need and would never tell anyone to hurt another person or hurt themselves. They are non-judgmental beings that lift people up to their highest potential in life. Most Angels gave up their free will to align themselves with their Creator. But a few Angels did the opposite – these Angels are called “Fallen Angels” or “The Watchers”. The Angels gave up their free will to protect humanity from the fallen Angels and follow the orders of The Creator.

Angels respond to prayers directly from our hearts. You can call on Angels by speaking, thinking, writing or visualizing. People that continuously communicate with Angels seem to have a greater sense of overall well being.

 To describe how the Angels connect us to the energies of the creator I am going to use the metaphor of the World Wide Web and a computer. We are the computer, the angels are the “world wide web” and the wires or the wireless signals are the energy. To connect to the World Wide Web (the angels) from our computers (humanity), we must have an internet connection which includes some type of signal, cable or telephone wire (energy). This means an open line that is connecting us to the World Wide Web. Now think about if that wire had a clamp in the middle of it. If the wire was clamped or not plugged into our computers, the signal would stop flowing to our computers from the World Wide Web. 

So what would we do? We would remove the clamp and plug it back in, right? Well we must do the same with our own energy. We must, if any, remove the clamps or “blocks” within our energy field (chakras) from any of what I call “smegma” or residue that is lying within our “wires” and is blocking the energy that connects us with our angels. 

 Recite this prayer daily  to help remove any energetic blocks or"smegma" from your wires :)

What do Angels Look Like? Who are Angels?

ABOUT ANGELS

Angel is derived from the Greek word “angelos” or Latin word “angelus” which means messenger. The matching Hebrew word “mal'ak” has the same meaning. Angels are defined as supernatural or spirit beings that act as mediators between heaven and earth. Angels are The Creator's Messengers; they carry our prayers to and from The Creator as well as guide us throughout our lives.

Angels are divided into choirs which gives them rankings. The division into Choirs does not mean that they are rated as being better angels than the other, it only states what responsibilities they carry. We will talk about The Choirs of Angels in a later lecture.

Angels protect and guide us in our times of need. They hold pure and positive intentions and would never hurt a human being nor tell them to hurt themselves or another person. 

 

WHAT DO ANGELS LOOK LIKE?

This is a good question for there is many different outlooks on what angels look like.

In The Bible, it describes angels as having many eyes and many sets of wings. It also describes angels as having 4 faces..an ox, a lion, a man and an eagle.

So if The Bible describes angels with such a chilling description, why are they always painted with such beauty and with one set of gorgeous flowing wings?

Why was the first words that the angels spoke “Do Not Be Afraid.” when they showed themselves to those in The Bible?

I believe angels show themselves to us with whatever will not frighten us. They can show themselves as loved ones bringing healing messages, an animal, or a beautiful lighted being. I believe whatever brings us peace in our heart, mind, body and soul, is how angels will physically show themselves to us.

A famous Artist was painting and saw an angel one evening. He saw the bright light that surrounded the spiritual being. As the light was shining around his head, it looked like a circle. This is where the halo was born...Although they portray the angels with a halo, It is actually the divine light that surrounds them.

As for the wings...I am not sure if angels have wings or not. Some have said they have had spiritual experiences where the angels had wings and some say they did not have wings. I know when I see them, they have wings. This does not create the fact of whether they do or they do not. We must be sure whether we are seeing an angel or a spirit guide for from what I understand, spirit guides will not have wings...

Although Angels can take on the form of a human being, they do not have physical bodies like Jesus did. They were made for and by The Creator to deliver His messages to us here on Earth while forming a bridge between Earth and Heaven. Angels never lived a human life...being created in spirit, they will remain in spirit. This is the difference between Spirit Guides and Angels,

Spirit Guides have lived a human life before..most likely, many of them while angels have not.

I truly believe that how we are comfortable seeing Angels... and how we envision them, is how they will show themselves to us. They do not want to scare us...only guide us and bring pure divine love and guidance into our lives.

What is Angel Art Therapy? (Angel Art Readings by Lifeshare University of Healing

What is Angel Art?
Angel Art Therapy is the process of receiving intuitive messages from the angels and spirit that help guide us towards our purpose in life. Angel Art brings us the messages we NEED the most at that specific time in our lives. There are other mediums that can be used to target specific questions such as Tarot Cards.

Q: Why won't the angels tell me exactly what I want to know?
A: Because Spirit knows exactly what we need, when we need it and how we will best receive and understand the messages they bring to us. They want what is best for you at that specific time in your life.

Q: Will I hear something bad or negative? Will the angels tell me someone close to me is going to pass away?A: ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Negative messages are NEVER received through Angel Art. Angels are pure spiritual beings that are full of Divine Love. They would never do or say anything to upset you or hurt you.

The angels send us messages to help us grow and prosper by bringing awareness to what could be hindering us from moving forward as well as removing what may be blocking us.

Angels are with us at all times, always protecting and guiding us. We just need to listen to the messages and watch for the signs that they send us so we can live a healthier and happier life! 0:-)
